Oslo is formalized submission

They keep bringing up the Oslo Accords as if this process represented a viable solution. In reality, it was nothing but a sham. Oslo served Israel to consolidate its grip on Palestinian land while cloaking itself in diplomatic rhetoric. Under the pretext of negotiations, occupation deepened.

Whether Palestine is recognized as a state or not changes nothing about how it is treated: as an illegitimate territory, a political fiction. Its army is systematically labeled a terrorist organization. Colonial dynamics do not stop because the vocabulary changes. Binding agreements already exist, and they are already being violated with total indifference from Western powers.

The two-state solution, what a load of crap. What a scam.

Oslo literally announced to the Arabs in the region that they would be subjected to Israeli military law. In what world could anyone have believed for a second that this was a path to self-determination? This process was never meant to allow Palestinians to govern themselves. It created an illusion of local sovereignty while keeping the colonial domination system intact.

Israel never intended to share the land fairly. It’s not a question of borders, it’s a question of project: the project to exclude, fragment, annihilate. The “two-state solution” is nothing but a cover-up, a façade to disguise an ongoing ethnic cleansing process.

Legitimizing the illegitimate

Oslo was never a negotiation between equals. It was a unilateral device, a machine to produce coerced consent. It was not about building peace but about giving occupation a more presentable face.

And today, they want us to believe that a Palestinian state on crumbs of fragmented, encircled territory could change anything? On what land, exactly? Will we demand Israel remove the settlements? Reunify Gaza and the West Bank? In what world? No one believes it. Oslo allowed Israel to continue colonial expansion while giving the illusion of compromise.

Challenging the whole project

As long as the entire Israeli colonial project is not questioned, nothing will change. Recognizing a Palestinian state under these conditions would only validate facts on the ground. Legitimize injustice with a UN stamp to make it palatable.

It is out of the question to continue recognizing as legitimate such a recent, violent colonial project methodically supported by Western imperialism.

Who can believe that at this stage, the symbolic recognition of an isolated, controlled, fragmented Palestinian state will achieve anything tangible? It’s a show. A diplomatic farce.

So no. We are not going back.

We won’t replay Oslo. We won’t pretend this masquerade is anything other than a domination enterprise.
