Accelerated colonization
Israel believed it could replicate, in record time, the successful settler colony model that the United States took centuries to build. On paper, the result seems achieved, but this narrative must be firmly challenged.
Israel’s illusion rests on compressing several centuries of colonization into just a few decades. The fantasy of creating instant indigeneity through military superiority, erasing indigenous peoples, and cynically exploiting historical traumas for its own benefit. By looking at the United States, Israel convinced itself it could do the same, but faster, “cleaner,” with more advanced technologies and better-controlled propaganda. Yet settler colonialism is never just about material occupation. It is about imposing a lasting narrative, convincing the world, and especially future generations, that you have always been there.
That is why this project must be fought. Not only because of the horrors it produces but because it claims to set a dangerous precedent. It asserts that with enough propaganda, it is still possible to perpetuate a racial conquest under a humanitarian veneer. This masquerade is not only intolerable but also doomed to fail.
The dream of an accelerated, successful settler colony must be denounced and fought. The State of Israel must be dismantled.
